So yeah, remember kids, the first impression is indeeed important (and it doesn’t hurt either if you actually make an effort to get your classmates to know you)! For the next 4 years everyone knew me as “the girl in the Eminem shirt”, even though by the end of high school I was already a rockhead. I wanted to know what the fuss was about and at the time I was interested in rap music (plus I had a little crush on my friend and wanted to get closer to him…) Fun fact: on my first day of high school I walked into the classroom wearing an Eminem shirt. Sadly since then we drifted apart and hardly speak, but I still remember asking him if I could borrow his casette (!!) of The Eminem Show. When he realised I’m not a total psycho we’ve become friends over the years. After a year of me practically annoying the hell out of him while trying to stay in contact with him, we met again in the same camp. I was in 7th grade I think when in a summer camp met this guy, who was all about him. My “relationship” with Eminem goes a long way back. Music Monday is a meme that was created by Drew from The Tattooed Book Geek. You pick a song and/or video and share it on Monday.
